Nope...the hardcore scene is still about the first picture. I don't know what is going on in that second picture...it is either of some L.A. glam metal band from the 80's, or some AFI wanna-be...either way, it ain't hardcore.
You're right Mike. In every hardcore scene across the world i'm sure you can still find a group of people dedicated to holding true to what hardcore began as and what it should aspire to be.
Of course there are kid's like those featured in the second pictire around, but i never see them at shows that embody the true spirit of hardcore.
Usually they're at some metalcore show ninja dancing and discussing the latest feature added to their sidekick or who has the coolest BAPE clothing.
That being said, i'm not worried about kids like that corroding hardcore music, they will die out just like every other trend will.
And Rold, i was talking to my brother he said the Heartfelt package arrived and he listened to both the cd's, says they're really good. Thanks man.
Yeah I thought lets also include the first record in the package for my blog comrades for free. That way you can hear that the band has made some progress over the years. ..Or you can conclude that we didn't that's up to you and Mike.
It is Mike. From my experience anyway. I've ordered stuff from Surprise Attack Records, which is out of Erie, PA i believe and something else from Vancouver on the same day. Erie is like a 4 hour drive if that and Vancouver is a 5 hour flight. I got my stuff from Vancouver about a week ahead of when i recieved the stuff from Erie. They were both shipped using the same method. It deosn't make any sense.

Haha, I haven't been able to hear it yet, i'll get my brother to put it on his computer and send it to me and i'll let you know what i think.
I may even make a post about it.
here's me crossing fingers on blogpost about Heartfelt ;-)
Every day I open my mailbox hoping that the CD has arrived...nothing yet. Is Canada's postal service really that much faster than the US? :)
