Another review from the fine people at Pastepunk:
HEARTFELT "Take It Or Leave It" (Shield Recordings)
Review by Jordan A. Baker
Alrighty, who kidnapped Ray Cappo and forced to him to flee to the Netherlands to make another BETTER THAN A THOUSAND full-length under the name HEARTFELT? All that Take It Or Leave It is missing is the Revelation Records hardcore seal of approval. Fourteen glorious songs of speedy youth-crew inspired hardcore that stand strong with poignant, socially relevant lyrics a raw, from-the-basement recording style, and a seriously beautiful booklet of art and lyrics. The comparisons to some of hardcore's biggest names are inescapable: BATTERY, IN MY EYES, THE NERVE AGENTS, and so forth. The "Cappo factor" is the real driver to Take It Or Leave It so unless you're into the harsh vocal style that involves every other word ending with "rrrraaawwwrlllll" HEARTFELT might not be for you. But for me however, Take It Or Leave It is a heck of a find and would find a perfect home domestically on a label like Rivalry or Bridge Nine.
And an interview with yours truly.

I didn't realize that you were the singer. When I get some extra cash, I'm going to have to order the new CD from you.
I'm not the singer, more of the screamer ;-)
I checked it out and it's 15 euros postage paid to send the record to the states.
I'm gonna have some money in my paypal within the next couple of weeks. So if you can email me with how much $$ it will cost and what email i should send the money to that would be rad. thanks dude.
