Straight Edge Pride
Some years ago I finally 'made' it. I played bass in the band Strip The Threads as a replacement for Sjarm 13 (now Modern Life Is War).
Strip The Threads was 200% dedicated to the Straight Edge. Lots of kids were into the band the shorttime period we existed. Some people say we were the European answer to Chain of Strength but newer songs (which were never recorded) had a Hands Tied feel as well.
I played two shows with them. During the summer we were supposed to write songs for an e.p. to be released on Crucial Response Records.
Unfortunately things didn't work out between some members and we split up.
I've been trying ever since to start a new edge band. And I must say things are looking good in that departement.
