Promises Broken

It seems like another good band has come to an end. Rumors on the internet say that Seattles' best band Champion is going to quit. A last show will be played on march 26th. Flying there from the Netherlands will cost 599 dollars.
The first Champion records were pretty boring if you ask me. Still their 'Promises Kept' full length did rock my boat. It came out in a time when there didn't seem to be any edge band around anymore. Well not one that played oldschool well enough to make an enjoyable full length.
You should give credit to these guys for playing the whole globe within a year and putting everything they had into the band.
They were dedicated, still I wonder why they decide to break up after signing with a new label and all.
