New Betrayed and Go It Alone songs!

Betrayed featuring Aram from Champion on vocals and Todd Jones from Carry On on guitar is one of my favourite new bands from 2005. Their addiction ep is just the kind of record I like, lots of melody without losing the anger that makes hardcore not poppunk. Besides Aram writes pretty good lyrics taking the straight edge thing into a different direction.

Another band that surprised me in 2005 was Go It Alone, they're from Canada. Their full length The Only Blood Between Us is a good mixture between the 'darker hardcore' known from bands as American Nightmare and Panic and oldfashioned social-political lyrics. While in Europe Go It Alone also recorded some songs for their new record. They recorded in Bunts Studios in Utrecht, known for working with Mainstrike, Reaching Forward and lots of other bands.
Go It Alone wanted to record there because they say they're really influenced by Mainstrike. This is something you don't hear that much from people overzeas.
